"My weekly workouts at CoreFitness have truly enhanced my quality of life. Prior to meeting Gina, I had herniated a disc in my lower back. I went from being an extremely active 36 year old male to avoiding all activity due to the pain in my back. The lack of activity contributed to other physical problems. Before I started my routine with CoreFitness, I tried chiropractors, other physical therapists, epidural steroid shots and acupuncture. Nothing relieved the pain, or my fear of additional pain. At that point, I was not enjoying life. Now I am doing all of the activities that I was unable to do before exercising with Gina at CoreFitness. She is tremendous in developing a customized set of exercises, using basic equipment to rehabilitate injuries. Each workout is interesting and ensures continual progress. I feel that I avoided unnecessary surgery on my back. Today, I believe I am much better of than if I took the surgical approach. I am equipped with exercises and stretches to prevent my old injury from reoccurring. I have a greater sense of awareness of my back. I have learned proper posture and body mechanics for picking up heavy objects. I feel truly fortunate to have met Gina and her system of CoreFitness. I would strongly recommend it for any person who has been injured or who would just like to stay fit. I wish I had been introduced to this form of exercise before my injury.
