We are Physical Therapists and Certified Personal Trainers

CoreFitness was founded in 2001 by Gina Mancuso as a group fitness and personal training company, starting from a small studio in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia. As the business evolved, the mobile fitness model was introduced, leading to the creation of Boot Camp at the Art Museum steps. This shift allowed CoreFitness to reach more people and embrace a more flexible approach to fitness.

Over the years, the Art Museum steps have become an iconic symbol of CoreFitness’s dedication to both fitness and the local community. As the longest-running fitness company to hold classes at this historic location, we take pride in our commitment, resilience, and ongoing presence, fostering health and connection in Philadelphia.
